Dublin United Craft Show committee seeks vendors for Saturday, Nov. 17
The Dublin United Craft Show will give crafters and area residents a chance to come together to make local Christmas shopping part of Dublin’s holiday tradition.
The DUMC Craft Show is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 17, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the church’s Family Life Center behind its central building on East Main Street. The show committee is currently seeking vendors to join the group of locally known artisans and craft people who have already committed to showing their goods.
These people include Harold Lambert showing his wooden bowls and David Stanley showing his pottery, and Steven Baker showing his glass, according to Glenda Lindstrom, project chairwoman.
Other vendors already signed up include Judy Smith, Martha Ward and Geri Yost, to name a few. A variety of homemade baked goods and bread will also be available for purchase.
Spaces for the event cost $30 each. This fee is to help sponsor Jubilation 2013, a retreat for older adults in Kingsport, Tenn., in the spring.
Lindstrom said 25 spots remain available for vendors. Those interested in reserving a spot may contact Lindstrom at 674-6173 or the church at 674-5128.

Good luck! Seems every other group is doing it the same day…I myself am signed up as a vendor at Falling Branch Elementary. I know Grove UMC is doing one in Radford that day, and I was invited to at least two others that day as well.
