Dublin Volunteer Fire Department kicks off Fire Prevention Week with open house Oct. 7
The Dublin Volunteer Fire Department is hosting an open house at its fire station Oct. 7 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. to kick off Fire Prevention Week 2012, which runs through Oct. 13.
A community worship service will be held at 11 a.m. There will be fire trucks on display, a station tour and equipment demonstrations. Fire Pup and Smokey the Bear will also make special appearances.
Hot dogs, chips and drinks will be served.
