Photo: Another rare visitor to Wildwood Park
Nancy Kent of Radford shares this Oct. 2 photo and writes:
This roving photographer has welcomed another rare, and perhaps first-time, visitor to Wildwood Park – a Dainty Sulphur (Nathalis iole) butterfly. As its name implies, it is the smallest member of its family. It was nectaring on a small aster flower and enjoying the warm south meadow. I was, of course, delighted to see it and get its photograph. What a joy!
