Christiansburg police to hold annual fall festival Saturday, Oct. 20
The Christiansburg Police Department will hold their annual fall festival Saturday, Oct. 20 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the New River Valley Mall parking lot between Olive Garden and IHOP. The event is a free, fun day for kids.
More than a dozen vendors will be set up with information about kids’ health and safety. Kids can enjoy free games and activities, as well as hay rides and train rides. Police, fire and EMS vehicles will also be on display. A helicopter will land in the parking lot at noon.
There will be food items for sale and live music throughout the event.
The Christiansburg Police Department’s Relay for Life team will sell baked goods and pink breast-cancer awareness police patches. The Citizens Support Group will also be selling raffle tickets for a chance to win the battery-operated Charger replica.
If you have any questions about the event, please contact Sgt. Phil Townley at 382-6123, ext. 324, or ptownley@christiansburg.org.
