The Bear Scouts of Pack 152 in Blacksburg were asked to do research and list the things that made America special and unique. The third-graders listed why they thought the U.S. was the best country on the planet:
1. We have freedom.
2. We allow different religions.
3. We have the most “awesomeness.”
4. We have a lot of monuments and history.
5. We have the best people who like to build and explore.
6. We have clean resources like air and water.
7. We have the best sports teams.
8. We have the best snacks and drinks, like Gatorade.
9. We have democracy.
10. America has the best tools.
