Depot Park in Christiansburg to be closed weekdays for construction beginning Thursday
Depot Park will be closed for construction beginning Thursday, Oct. 18. The park will be closed Monday through Friday, through the completion of the Outdoor Recreation Park Facility Enhancement Project. The facility will re-open on the weekends.
The reconstruction phase of this park includes a walking loop trail, a level multi-purpose athletic field and additional picnic areas.
This project is part of the Department of Parks and Recreation’s continued efforts to meet the community’s recreational needs.
