Master Gardeners accepting applications
Are you interested in becoming a Master Gardener?
Virginia Cooperative Extension in the New River Valley is accepting applications for their 2013 Master Gardener training. Classes will be held on Tuesday and Thursday Mornings from February through May on the Virginia Tech campus. Trainees must attend the 57-hour program and complete 50 hours of volunteer service. There is a $100.00 fee to cover class materials. For more information or to get an application, contact the Montgomery County Extension Office at 540-382-5790. Applications are due Nov. 30th.
