Bonnie Sue Gantz Caldwell named 2012 Provider of the Year at NRV education conference
The New River Valley Association for the Education of Young Children honored Bonnie Sue Gantz Caldwell as 2012 Provider of the Year at its annual fall conference.
Caldwell has worked in the early childhood profession for more than 19 years. She has worked with children ranging in age from infants to 5 years old at Rainbow Riders Childcare Center.
Karen Myers, NRVAEYC conference chairwoman made the presentation, reading quotes from the three letters of recommendations received with the nomination:
“Bonnie provides a classroom environment that creates a sense of ownership and belonging which empowers young children to discover their own ideas and strengths to develop a foundation for success. Bonnie has been a major influence on children and families in our community. The bonds that she has formed have continued to strengthen over time, and she continues to be an integral part of their lives.”
