Shelor Chevrolet collects 109 used cell phones to benefit military members
As part of a Chevrolet promotion, Shelor Chevrolet collected cell phones for soldiers through Nov. 1. Shelor Motor Mile Chevrolet has sent the 109 gently used cell phones to Cell Phones for Soldiers. Cell Phones for Soldiers is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing cost-free communication services to active duty military members and veterans.
For every one donated phone, two calling cards will be generated with approximately 100 minutes each. That would mean 218 calling cards will be generated from Shelor’s donations, and more than 21,000 minutes will be provided to military member and veterans.
Shelor Motor Mile Chevrolet had a great turnout for this event and are proud to help our service members keep in touch with their families. Thank you for the opportunity.
