NRV Mall to celebrate arrival of Santa Claus on Friday, Nov. 16

Local families are invited to celebrate the magic of the holidays at New River Valley Mall during the annual Santa arrival celebration Nov. 16 at 6 p.m. In addition to Santa Claus’ arrival to ring in the holidays, Santa’s elves and Wally and Abby of Those Funny Little People (as seen on America’s Got Talent) will spread cheer to local families and shoppers. Wally and Abby’s Meet & Greet will begin at 6:30 p.m., with performances at 7:15 p.m. and 8:15 p.m.
Also, Kris Kringle himself will be available for professional photos at his festive home near the Food Court, where he will be located throughout the holiday season. Family pets are also invited to pose for a photo with Santa, alone or with the family, on Monday evenings starting at 6 p.m. from Nov. 19 to Dec. 17.
