Jacksonville Center announces reduced winter hours
The Jacksonville Center for the Arts will reduce their hours for the visiting public during the winter months.
Beginning Dec. 30, the new hours will be Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and closed Sunday. The winter hours will be in effect until April 2.
“As with years past, we are trying to reduce our expenses during our slower period, but at the same time, we want to be accessible to our visitors as much as possible,” said John McEnhill, executive director of the center. “We will also be open for special events outside of our winter business hours, such as for our evening gallery receptions.”
The center will be closed Nov. 22, Thanksgiving Day, opening with regular hours the next day. Also, there will be shorter hours on Dec. 24 and Dec. 31 and will be closed on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.
