At the October meeting of the Hamilton Wade Chapter 949 United Daughters of the Confederacy meeting, Judy Clark presented the chapter with the wreaths she will be placing on the Confederate Monument in Floyd for Veterans Day.
Hamilton Wade UDC also places wreaths at the Blacksburg Confederate Monument, Christiansburg Confederate Monument and the grave of Capt. Hamilton Wade, as well as maintaining the Montgomery White Sulphur Springs Confederate Cemetery.
