Photos: Treehopper ready for its closeup
Nancy Kent of Radford shares these photos and writes:
When this Treehopper (Telamona collina) hopped off a wall and onto the tip of my finger, it seemed very content to crawl around and explore my hand as I snapped away. It certainly had big enough eyes to get a good look at its surroundings. In fact, it seemed a bit insulted when I finished taking photos and returned it to the wall.
The tiny creature was only about 12 millimeters long – amazing what a closer look with the camera shows!
