RADFORD — Radford residents lined East Main Street Saturday afternoon for the city’s annual Christmas parade which lasted about 40 minutes and included several floats from local businesses, scout troops and churches.
Kollmorgen, a Radford-based company that provides motion systems and components for equipment manufacturers, received plenty of cheers as its truck was fitted with a snow-making machine and speakers that played Christmas music.
The Radford parade included more than 24 farm tractors from the New River Valley Antique Tractor and Gas Engine Association, rescue horses from Winterfrost Farms and a live nativity from Gethsemane Baptist Church.
The Burg’s Mike Shaw was there and shares these photos from the event.
