I was delighted, not only because it was the first photo I had ever had published but also because I had finally been successful in emailing it at the required resolution! camera for about six months and figured out how to use several of its features, but I was still learning about using my computer for editing.
When I took a second look at the photo and re-cropped it, I realized that there was another bird in the picture – a chickadee that was flying away from the feeder. I decided that the two red birds made a better balanced photo, but the little gray bird in flight completed the story. This is still one of my favorite bird images regardless of the cropping.”

What a beautiful picture. I live in Danville and saw a cardinal last week. I’m also seeing blue birds.
