Jacksonville Center calls for art entries in 11th-annual New Works Exhibit by Feb. 25
The Jacksonville Center for the Arts in Floyd will be accepting applications for the upcoming Hayloft Gallery exhibit, the 11th-annual New Works Exhibit.
The deadline for completed entry materials is Feb. 25, which is not a postmark deadline. The show will be held from March 22 to May 19, with a reception on Saturday, April 13 at 6 p.m. Applications can be downloaded on the website at http://jacksonvillecenter.org/for-the-community/show-your-work/. Those with limited computer access may request an application by calling 745-2784 or stopping by the center.
All work mediums are welcome. Surprise the community with your fresh creativity! Art work should have been created within the past year. Work previously exhibited at the center or work already exhibited at another venue is not eligible for this exhibit.
A “People’s Choice” award of $50 has been anonymously donated. The public will be invited to vote for their favorite piece. The winner will be announced after the end of the exhibit.
