Laura Swift, of Laura Swift Photography, has joined Me Ra Koh Photography as a certified teacher to bring Me Ra Koh photography workshops to Christiansburg.

Me Ra Koh has been inspiring the hearts of women for 20 years. She is a host to her new TV show for moms on Disney Junior, an award-winning photographer, best-selling author, inspirational keynote speaker and SONY Artisan of Imagery. Her photography and photo tips have appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Nate Berkus Show on NBC, Lifetime Television, and more. Through reading her tragic — yet triumphant story, you will see why she is passionate about her single mission: to empower moms who want to capture the story of their family.

Me Ra Koh has brought on a nationwide select team of 14 like-minded women to help her meet this mission of empowering moms in capturing the ones they love. Tina Erdmann is one of the 14 certified and mentored Confidence teachers, and ambassadors of the Me Ra Koh brand.

Swift is offering two types of classes throughout the year right here in Christiansburg: Budding Confidence, a half-day workshop for the beginner who wants a few hours of creative inspiration and mentoring with a point-and-shoot camera, and Growing Confidence, a full-day workshop for the DSLR user who is overwhelmed by all those buttons.

Both classes begin with instruction, and allow time for hands-on practice so you can put to use everything you learned while Swift is there to help you. Every student will receive a workbook with photo exercises and quick tips to take home at the end of day.

Laura Swift Photography is a NRV lifestyle portrait photographer offering unique, on-location, interactive portrait sessions. For more information, visit lauraswiftphotography.com.
