Christiansburg holiday closures and garbage-collection schedule
Christiansburg Town Hall will be closed in observance of Lee-Jackson Day and Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on Friday, Jan. 18 and Monday, Jan. 21, respectively. Town Hall will reopen at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 22.
The Christiansburg Aquatic Center will be closed on Friday, Jan. 18. The center will operate holiday hours on Monday, Jan. 21, meaning the pools will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The center will resume regular hours on Tuesday, Jan. 22.
The Christiansburg Recreation Center facilities will operate during normal hours. Administrative offices will be closed on Friday, Jan. 18 and Monday, Jan. 21. Administrative offices will reopen at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 22.
Garbage collection normally scheduled for Friday will be picked up on Tuesday, Jan. 22, along with Tuesday’s regular collection. Garbage collection normally scheduled for Monday will be picked up on Wednesday, Jan. 23, along with Wednesday’s regular collection. Please have garbage placed out for collection by 8 a.m.
