Southwest Virginia Moving & Storage inducted into international group
Southwest Virginia Moving & Storage, an independent, locally owned moving and storage services provider, was recently inducted as a Core Member of the International Association of Movers.
IAM is a global association of more than 2,000 members in 170 countries and territories dedicated to providing the global shipping community with the highest standard of service. It is the largest worldwide professional coalition of forwarding, moving, shipping and supply companies representing the household goods moving industry.
“As a member of IAM, we are positioned to receive more opportunities for international shipping projects from the Port of Norfolk, as well as inbound and outbound shipments in the New River Valley and Roanoke,” said Andrew Drescher, president of Southwest Virginia Moving and Storage.
Southwest Virginia Moving and Storage, a division of Relocation Benefits LLC, was founded in April 2011 when Relocation Benefits purchased Pitzer Transfer of Salem, Robert and Son’s Moving of Christiansburg, and Wallace Transfer of Princeton, W.Va.
