Shelor Subaru makes donation to MCHS
Shelor Motor Mile Subaru collected goods for the Montgomery County Humane Society during the 2013 Subaru “Share the Love” event. The Humane Society is fully funded by community donations. No money is provided by federal, state, or county governments.
“Thank you for the generous donation you recently made as a result of your supply drive in front of Walmart. We appreceiate you thinking of our animals and wanting to make their lives better. We are working hard to eradicate the pet overpopulation problem here in the NRV and we won’t succeed without the community being involved”, said Ron Brown, President of MCHS.
Brown continued by saying, “Since we receive no government funds, we are extra appreciative of the support of organizations such as yours. With the efforts of many volunteers and the support of our membership, we are making a difference in the lives of many dogs and cats in our region. Your donation of food, treats, litter, and cleaning supplies gives us the ability to help even more of our four-legged friends”.
The fifth annual “Share the Love” event took place from November 21 through January 2. Shelor Motor Mile localized this event and collected goods for the Montgomery County Humane Society with the help of Christiansburg Walmart, allowing setup of the Shelor Motor Mile Community Partnership trailer.
