2013 Educational Programming Announcement

The Jacksonville Center for the Arts 2013 class schedule is now available. There are currently over 80 classes scheduled. The Jax is offering special ½ price classes for children, teens and seniors, as well as classes scheduled to celebrate holidays in new ways. There will be nationally known artists coming to Floyd to teach and local instructors offering new classes. The class schedule is available online at jacksonvillecenter.org. Classes scheduled for January, February, and March are already filling up so make sure to sign up soon.

As a special offer, if you register and pay in full for more than one class at the same time before March 1st, you will receive an additional 10% off your tuition. Please contact The Jax to take advantage of this special offer!

January classes include:

“Business and Tax Issues for Small Businesses, Self Employed and Artists” by Susan C. Heath, CPA. This class is on January 28th and is FREE.

“Wonders of Watercolor Painting” by Sidra Kaluszka. Meets on Wednesdays, January 30th – March 20th. Special high school student ½ price class! The cost is $135 with all materials included.

FAD (Floyd Arts Dialogues) – March 8th

Winter business hours are Monday to Friday, 10am to 3pm; Saturday, 11am to 4pm; and closed Sunday. Winter hours continue through March.
