RSVP of Montgomery County & Radford is participating in the nationwide Valentines for Vets program by creating valentines for the patients at the Salem Veterans Medical Center.

Fourteen RSVP volunteers met on Wednesday, Jan. 30, in the RSVP Activity Room and made 58 cards. Six volunteers also made cards at home to contribute to this program. We have 541 cards to date!

This project is a way to let our veterans know that they are appreciated and not forgotten. Many thanks to the following groups for contributing to our project: Asbury United Methodist Church Senior Bible Study, Pathways Christian School kindergarten classes, St. Paul United Methodist Church Sunday School class, Blacksburg Newcomers Club, Chi Delta Alpha Sorority, Auburn Elementary School, English Meadows, and the New River Valley Scrapbooking Club.
