Wedding and Wine Festival sponsors wedding giveaway
Alyce Haynes of Salem, who graduated from Glenvar High School and Radford University, with her partner, Steve Gonsalves, from SyFy’s series “Ghost Hunters” are looking for a way to give back to an area they love.
They are currently planning the Wedding and Wine Festival at Nesselrod Bed and Breakfast and decided they wanted to give away a wedding.
Mark Gordon, owner of Nesselrod, said, “Why not make it two?!”
The Wedding and Wine Festival will be giving away two weddings to couples with either the bride or groom being Active Duty or Reserve Military, a Police Officer, EMT or Firefighter. The festival will take place Sept. 22 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Radford bed and breakfast. Either the bride or groom must be present to win.
Winning couples will receive a venue for a Sunday wedding ceremony and reception for up to 50 people hosted at Nesselrod Bed & Breakfast, a wedding gown (up to a $500 value) from The Newfangled Bride located in Salem and a bridal bouquet and groom’s boutonniere sponsored by The Flower Shoppe on Main in Salem.
