On Dec. 20 the Christiansburg High School quartet “Quadratonix,” made up of Caleb Caldwell, Leah Piemonte, Jessica Watson and Luke Williams, performed three songs on air with K-92′s “The Mornin’ Thang.”

Previously, the group took first place in Shelor Motor Mile’s Growing the Future the Future Talent Show on Oct. 20,  winning the grand prize of $20,000 for the school and $2,500 for the quartet.

Thursday the group performed their talent show winning hit, “Pop Smash-Up,” followed by holiday favorites, “Silent Night” and “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.”
