Wags for Waffles to benefit humane society Saturday, April 28
The Hampton Inn and the Humane Society of Montgomery County are teaming up to raise money for local pets in need.
“Wags For Waffles” will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2012 at The Hampton Inn Christiansburg/Blacksburg. The benefit will includes free waffles, a dog wash for donations, raffle prizes, and awareness stations.
The goal of this event is to raise awareness of animals in need. We are also hoping to raise money for the Humane Society of Montgomery County, a no-kill shelter. We will accept cash donations and donated items for the shelter, including dry adult cat and dog food, rawhides, hard rubber toys, cleaning supplies, and more. We are also in search of vendors for this event. We will be offering vendor tables for local organizations to come and promote their products and/or educational materials (at no cost).
The Hampton Inn Christiansburg/Blacksburg is located at 380 Arbor Drive, right across from the Outback Steakhouse.
