Beer and Wine Fest on May 17 in Blacksburg to support programs for people with disabilities
A Beer and Wine Fest and Silent Auction will be held May 17, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the Blacksburg Country Club with hors d’oeuvres, Vintage Cellar’s pouring and tasting, and music provided by Earl Brown and his Dynamic Sound. Sponsored by Intellectual Disabilities Agency of the New River Valley, proceeds from the event help support the agency’s programs for people with disabilities. “Swing Fore Persons with Intellectual Disabilities,” a fundraising golf classic, will be held June 2 at Auburn Hills Golf Course in Riner and is also sponsored by IDA. The cost is $60 per person or $240 per team. Tee/hole sponsorships are available. Call 381-0310 or email sheila@ida.nrv.org.
