Civil War Living History Day will be held Saturday, May 12 in Floyd County
The Floyd County Historical Society is hosting Civil War Living History Day at the Phlegar House (in the Floyd Regional Commerce Center) on Saturday, May 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
Please join us for a day of historic activities, including re-enactors from the 24th Virginia Infantry Regiment, weaving exhibits on display, and storytelling from local historians. Learn Floyd County’s role in the Civil War, including Stoneman’s Raid through Floyd, research your local Civil War ancestors, and bring your Civil War-related items, documents or photographs, which could be digitally copied.
