Beliveau Estate Winery to host geocaching hunt June 17 and Lavender Festival on June 24

Fathers Day Geocaching Adventure at Beliveau Estate
The ultimate Treasure Hunt awaits you at Beliveau Estate on Sunday, June 17, from 1 to 6 p.m. Bring the family to hunt for hidden Geocache treasures. You will need to bring a GPS device as only latitude and longitude coordinates will be given as clues. The event is free. Picnic foods will be for sale, as well as wine from Beliveau Estate Winery. Lavender Festival and Plein Air Art Contest
Enjoy the sight and scent of fresh lavender at the fifth-annual Lavender Festival at Beliveau Estate on Sunday, June 24, 2012 from 12 to 6 p.m. Enjoy calm and relaxation as you listen to Helen Cooley, harpist, from 1 to 3 p.m. Watch artists paint the lavender, sit in on “Learn about Lavender” lectures, or indulge in a lavender hand massage. Picnic foods, lavender plants and products, and fresh lavender bouquets will be for sale. Other amenities include wine from Beliveau Estate Winery, on-site hiking, a stocked pond, and spectacular picnic spots. Admission is free. Artists wishing to participate in the Plein Air Art Contest may download a registration form at beliveauestate.com.
