New Dublin Presbyterian to offer VBS day camp July 16-20
The New Dublin Presbyterian Church will be offering something new this year in its tradition of Vacation Bible School, according to the Rev. Andrew Taylor-Troutman, pastor. The church will host a Summer Day Camp July 16-20 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The day camp is sponsored by the Peaks Presbytery and will be led by Joann McElmurray from the presbytery staff.
“Go Green-Kids Making a Difference in God’s Green World,” is the theme of the camp. The church’s rural setting north of Dublin across from the New River Valley Fairgrounds offers lots of room for outdoor activities. The church is located at the end of New Dublin Church Road, which intersects with Route 100 North.
Children from kindergarten through fifth grade are invited. Please bring a bag lunch. Snacks and drinks are provided.
For more information contact the church at 674-6174 or newdublinpres@verizon.net.
