Seventh Day Adventist churches to hold Sabbath district event Sept. 29
Christiansburg Seventh Day Adventist Church, 40 Farmview St., Christiansburg, has several upcoming events, including a vespers service each Saturday evening at 6.
Each Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the church will be providing a community meal. Donations are accepted but not necessary. On Sunday, Oct. 14, at 6:30 p.m. there will be a board meeting for the church.
Our first Sabbath district will be Sept. 29 at the Mountain View SDA Church, 328 Storkers Knob Road, Floyd. Please make plans to bring a dish and come out in fellowship with members of the Christiansburg, Mountain View, and New River Valley churches. A picnic-style lunch will be served at 1 p.m., and there will be a Singsperation that immediately follows. This is a wonderful time to learn about the SDA churches in the area. Public is welcome to attend. Hope to see you all there for a wonderful fellowship.
