Dogtoberfest bowling fundraiser is Oct. 14
Friends of Animal Care and Control that volunteers at the Montgomery County Animal Shelter in Christiansburg is hosting its sixth-annual Dogtoberfest for the Dogs on Oct. 14 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the NRV Superbowl.
Come out and bowl with us for the doggies! Entry fee for a team of four is $80. This includes three games, shoes and chances to win various door prizes. Please arrive between 12:30 and 1 p.m. to signup.
The money raised will help with veterinary care and supplies for the dogs at the shelter.
