Blacksburg Library to present homebuyer seminar Wednesday, Oct. 24
A Blacksburg Homebuyer Seminar will be held Wednesday, Oct. 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the Blacksburg Library.
The American Dream of homeownership lives on! You’ve heard it all before. Owning a home is a good investment. Owning a home is a way to secure retirement income. Owning a home has always represented success and stability. It also represents liberty!
Many homebuyers continue to feel the pull of this great American promise and consider homeownership a simple fundamental fact of life. In truth, owning property is an expensive privilege not common in many parts of the world. The opportunity to enter this marketplace is alluring and complicated without the help of trained professionals.
REMAX Realtor James Nolen invites Jamey Roberts from Prime Lending and Hillary Isleib from The Shaheen Firm to explain what you can do for yourself to get ready to purchase a home. Topics of discussion will include selecting a buyer’s agent, lining up financing, and what to expect at the closing table. You will leave this program with a deeper understanding of the home-buying process.
The Blacksburg Library is located at 200 Miller St., Blacksburg.
