Carol service at Christiansburg Presbyterian is Sunday, Dec. 2
Christiansburg Presbyterian Church’s Chancel Choir and Chancel Ringers will present “Come, Ye Faithful: A Service of Carols” by Hal H. Hopson on Sunday, Dec. 2, at 7 p.m. in the Church Sanctuary, located at 107 W. Main St.
This service, based on the traditional Lessons and Carols format, tells the birth of Christ through poetry based on Scripture and carols, both new and old. The musical service will include string quintet, handbells, percussion, harp, organ, choir and congregation.
The public is invited to join the congregation for this magical and spiritual musical event. Admission is free; however, donations to the music program will be graciously accepted.
A reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall, and a nursery will be provided. For more information, please contact Taylor Baldwin at 382-2802.
