Blacksburg Master Chorale presents Handel’s ‘Messiah’ Dec. 14
Special 25th anniversary presentation of Handel’s MESSIAH
Every holiday season since 1987, the group known as the Blacksburg Master Chorale has performed selections from this well-loved work.
Tracing its humble origins to the living room of then Music Director, Craig Fields, the Chorale has continued to have significant impact in the New River Valley. The initial concert was “a benefit concert for the homeless at Christmas” and, in the spirit of the times, was titled MESSIAH AID.
An orchestra and featured soloists will accompany the Blacksburg Master Chorale for this year’s celebratory concert on Friday, December 14th, 7:30 PM at Blacksburg Baptist Church.
Tickets are $20/adult and $10/student and are available from Chorale members, at-the-door or on our website: www.blacksburgmasterchorale.org.
