Mainstream Music students to present winter concert at the Lyric on Jan. 12
On Saturday, Jan. 12, the Lyric Theatre of downtown Blacksburg will be presenting a special winter concert to benefit Feeding America.
From 1 to 3 p.m., students of Mainstream Music will be performing jazz, classical, bluegrass, contemporary and rock music from solo to ensemble.
A minimum donation of $5 per family is requested at the door to help cover the cost of the venue. All funds collected above that cost, along with nonperishable food donations, will be provided to Feeding America Southwest Virginia.
