Keynote speaker for the Friday and Saturday ceremonies was Stephen C. Tweed, a 1970 graduate of Lock Haven University. Mr. Tweed is president and CEO of Leading Home Care and a Certified Speaking Professional. “Five years from now,” he said, “you will be the same person you are now, except for the experiences you have, the people you meet and the books you read.” He drew upon his own career since graduation to illustrate the impact of these three factors. In his message to the graduates, he expressed his hope that they would have a lifelong passion for learning, and stressed the lessons to be learned from experiences, other people, and books.
