University of Mary Washington names New River Valley students to spring dean’s list
The University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Va., has announced its dean’s list for the spring semester of the 2011-12 academic year. The dean’s list recognizes outstanding academic achievement by full-time students who attain a minimum grade-point average of 3.5 out of a possible 4.0.
The following New River Valley students are among the 796 students who have been named to the dean’s list:
- Lori E. Buchanan, a senior, from Christiansburg
- Colleen E. Dolloff, a sophomore, from Blacksburg
- Abigail K. Heller, a sophomore, from Blacksburg
- Ian W. R. Huff, a senior, from Pilot
- Abigail A. Kimmitt, a senior, from Blacksburg
- Kimberly L. Slater, a junior, from Christiansburg
