NRCC Phi Beta Lambda students excel at national conference

Three New River Community College students recently brought home honors from competitions held at the Phi Beta Lambda National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas.
Eric Rasmussen, of Pulaski, placed in the top 10 in Marketing Concepts and in Marketing Analysis and Decision Making. Pamela Rutherford Floyd and Margie Tabor of Little Creek placed in the top 15 in Business Ethics. The NRCC chapter of PBL also earned an Outstanding Chapter Award.
More thanĀ 10,000 college students from across the United States attended the conference.
Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda is a non-profit education association that helps prepare students for careers in business and business-related fields.
