Hokies start heading back to Blacksburg
Blacksburg was flooded with orange and maroon Wednesday as Virginia Tech students began moving into dorms.
About 9,300 students will move in to Tech residence halls by Saturday. Classes will begin Monday.
Scheduled move-in times are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Washington Street will be closed to westbound traffic from Spring Road to Kent Street on move-in days during these hours.
