NRV residents enroll at Ferrum College for fall semester

Ferrum College in Ferrum recently completed its final census of students enrolled for the fall semester. The following local students joined a student body of more than 1,500 students from 25 states and multiple countries:

  • Lenora Hinkley, of Christiansburg
  • Kathryn Kipps, of Blacksburg
  • Jordan Link, of Pilot
  • Monica Morris, of Copper Hill
  • Rebekka Higgins, of Elliston
  • Chelsie Stafford, of Blacksburg
  • Nicholas English, of Blacksburg
  • Timothy Belew, of Newport
  • Aaron Linkenhoker, of Christiansburg
  • Tyler Morgan, of Christiansburg
  • Eddie Shumate, of Christiansburg
  • Nathaniel Quintana, of Christiansburg
  • Jordan Price, of Christiansburg

Ferrum College is a four-year, private, co-educational, liberal arts college related to the United Methodist Church. Ferrum offers 33 areas of study ranging from business and environmental science to teacher education and criminal justice. The college will celebrate its centennial in 2013.
