NRCC to offer SAT prep course in January
New River Community College (NRCC) will offer a preparation course for the SAT (the college admission test) beginning on Jan. 19 and running each Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to noon until February 23 in Godbey Hall room 160 on the NRCC campus in Dublin.
The course will be instructed by Meredith Jones and Suzanne Steele and will include explanations and reviews of test topics along with math and verbal drills. Helpful hints, tips and shortcuts will also be provided to help students cover all SAT material more quickly.
Tuition is $102. Textbook fees of $45 are payable at the first class meeting. Students are also advised to bring a graphing calculator to the class.
