NRCC to host free financial aid workshops Feb. 20-21
To help prospective students better understand their educational financial aid options, New River Community College’s career advisers will offer the free workshop, “Financial Aid: Is it for Me and How Do I Get It?”
The workshop will be held Wednesday, Feb. 20, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the college’s New River Valley Mall site in Christiansburg and Thursday, Feb. 21, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 6 to 7:30 p.m. at NRCC in Dublin.
Participants will explore and debunk myths associated with educational financial aid and receive assistance in finding the right financial aid for their unique needs.
