Yost receives VEA “Rookie of the Year” honor

Republican Joseph Yost of Blacksburg did not get the Virginia Education Association’s endorsement when he ran for the House of Delegates last fall.
But the freshman delegate made a positive impression on the VEA during his first General Assembly session. Yost announced that he has received the “Legislative Rookie of the Year” award from the association.
