Radford meth bust results in three arrests

A drug bust resulted in three arrests Friday, according to a  Radford Police Department news release issued today.

Police officers and members of the Claytor Lake Regional Drug Task Force Friday afternoon responded to a home in the 100 block of Montgomery Street in Radford, which they believed was the site of a possible meth lab. When they arrived at the house, they witnessed three people cooking meth in the house, according to the police department.

Officers seized numerous items related to producing meth, and all three people were arrested at the scene.

Angela Faith Whitaker, 31, Tina Janine Mosely, 47, and Joseph Grant Hopkins Jr., 45, all of Radford, are being held in the New River Valley Regional Jail. Each are charged with manufacturing meth, possession of precursors to manufacturing meth, possession of meth, conspiracy to manufacture meth, and possession of 28 grams or more of a mixture containing meth.

  1. Give these killers the punishment they deserve, perhaps a lethal injection of their own poisons! Three down, probably hundreds left, but congrats Radford and Claytor Lake Law Enforcement task force!!!! A job well done.

  2. These people are created in the image of God! Why do you have the audacity to say that they should be injected with their own poison in order to kill them? You, Ancient Bobcat, are just as mentally ill as they are. The punishment must fit the crime, I thought that was in the Constitution. Apparently, you do not love the Constitution, you poor lost soul.

I may think a little odd compared to most… Maybe they truly are mentally ill and should not be PUNISHED for their illness ? i don’t see you sending people to jail for the flu, or for cancer or mental diseases like depression, anxiety, ptsd, or schizophrenia. so maybe they need HELP to be good citizens, not PUNISHMENT.
