Elliston man gets 25-year sentence in DUI incident

A man who seriously injured four people in a drunken car crash was sentenced to 25 years in prison Tuesday.

James Edward Rickman, 55, of Elliston will serve eight years, with the rest suspended, according to Chief Deputy Commonwealth’s Attorney Mary Pettitt.
