Christiansburg woman gets 40 years for role in husband’s killing

Danielle Vinese McPeak, 24, of Christiansburg was charged with plotting the death of her husband, James Matthew “Matt” McPeak. He was found bludgeoned and stabbed to death in his Miller Street home in Christiansburg on Dec. 21, 2010.

  1. While no prison sentence assigned will bring Matt back to us, I am glad to see this woman will be removed from society for a long time. I hope she will be denied access to the children and that there is no possibility for parole.
