Radford man charged in Sunday break-in

A Radford man faces charges in relation to a Sunday afternoon break-in.

Radford police responded to the 1900 block of West Street at 3:56 p.m. in response to a possible breaking and entering in progress. They found James Lawrence Rose Jr., 35, of Radford inside.

He was arrested and police retrieved several items they said belonged to the resident.

Rose was charged with breaking and entering with intent to commit larceny, in addition to a possession of marijuana charge. He is currently being held in New River Valley Regional Jail without bond.
