High court may hear Virginia Tech case

The wrongful death case against the state and Virginia Tech for the handling of the April 16, 2007, campus shootings may go back to court.

Both the plaintiffs and the defense in the case have filed formal notices of appeal to the Virginia Supreme Court, which may or may not take it up.
