Hokies kept fighting for cancer survivor

Tonight, the major television networks and a number of cable channels will broadcast a “Stand Up To Cancer” special.
Sharon McCloskey has already answered that challenge.
McCloskey, who rose from working as a receptionist in the Virginia Tech football office to become the No. 2 administrator in the athletic department, will be inducted into the university’s athletic hall of fame tonight — two months after her final chemotherapy treatment.
