Radford inventor drops lawsuit over device that stopped massive oil spill

A Radford inventor has dropped a lawsuit claiming that his design of a capping device that stopped the Deepwater Horizon oil spill was stolen by several engineering companies.

Charles J. Adams had sought at least $150 million in damages in a lawsuit filed in June in Roanoke’s federal court.
